SureFit Tour Hosel Technology

Each Titleist 913 metal features the patented SureFit Tour hosel. This innovative, dual-angle hosel technology allows loft and lie to be independently adjusted to optimise ball flight and to achieve a more precise fit.

Prior to the SureFit Tour hosel, adjustments to metalwoods were made by Titleist club technicians through a manual process involving trial-and-error, many trips to the workbench and the potential for club breakage. Titleist club engineers developed the SureFit Tour hosel to offer maximum "tour-van-in-a-hosel" fitting effectiveness through precise adjustability in order to optimise speed, spin, launch and ball flight for distance and shot control.

Player Benefits

  • Precise, independent loft and lie adjustments
  • Fine tune launch and spin for more accuracy and control
  • Increased distance and improved shot control
  • Optimised ball flight - higher or lower, and for more draw or fade

Advanced Technology

  • Features a sleeve and ring, each with four settings
  • Sleeve settings are numbered 1, 2, 3, 4
  • Ring settings are lettered A, B, C, D
  • Sixteen unique loft and lie combinations
  • Four different lie angles for each loft position
  • Four different loft settings for each head
  • Precision manufactured for tighter specification tolerance

Optimized Ball Flight

Finding the proper loft can help optimise the player's launch angle while generating the correct spin to allow the player to maximise their overall distance. As ball speed increases, spin rate becomes a more important factor in driver flight. As ball speed decreases, launch angle becomes a more important factor in driver flight.
