Rust spots on irons

Small rust spots are appearing on my irons (ZM Forged),  (probably due to the area I play, close to the Sea) some will come off with normal cleaning but others are more persistant and almost impossible to remove.  Any ideas as to what I can use to remove these rust spots without damaging the finish of the club?

Try using WD40 - spay some on a cloth and then wipe your irons.  It works well.

Hi Tony. I've had the same issue. 

What I do is clean after every round and put WD40 on   After a couple of rounds the rust spots disappear.
