I have been playing golf for over 40 years and have just gotten my first hole in one at the Greenbriar Golf Club in Monroe, NJ on August 9, 2015. Very Exciting!
I decided to go out late in the day and play a few holes. At hole number 4, a par 3 playing 125 yards that day i took out an 8 iron and my ProV1 ball and hit a shot with a slight draw toward the hole. It bounced once and hit the pin but I didn't know if it went in. When i got to the green I saw no ball on it so i checked the hole and there it was. A big cheer was given by all and when I turned in my card to our pro he was pleased since I have been taking lessons with him to improve my game.
Bottom line is, obviously I was thrilled but my bigger thrill was the great response I got when I told my sons and grandchildren.
