1 on 3!!

My dad had come to visit from Maine for the week and we finally were able to get out and play a round after a year since the last time. I was striking the irons pretty solidly that day and was excited to impress my dad, who is a very low handicap golfer himself. We came to the third hole, a short par three. I had the honors so I selected a 56° wedge since the hole was cut in the front of the green. I took one last look at the hole and then addressed the ball. It was a smooth stroke and pure contact. I looked up and the ball was right on line, it bounced twice toward the hole and disappeared. I couldn't believe it! My dad went next and hit it on the green, but he was about 45 feet away. I walked up to the hole slowly kind of in a daze hoping that the ball would in fact be at the bottom of the cup but somehow not believing that I would be. I grabbed the ball out of the hole while my dad took a picture. He walked over to his ball, lined it up and drained it for a birdie! The single that we were matched up with that day must've thought he was matched up with a couple of PGA tour Pros but we came back to earth in the subsequent holes! It was a great round with my dad and a great memory! Thanks Titleist!!
