My 15 year son Matthew hit a 3 hybrid into Oaks Country Club #9, a very tough uphill hole. He and I both saw it land on the front and roll, but assumed it went through the green. Since I missed the green left, I was late getting to the hole. Matthew walked around the back grass mounds and could not find his ball. I chipped up and tapped in while he continued to look. To my surprise when I reached in to retrieve my ball, I fould a second ball, his Titleist Velocity 11. We could not believe it and had a great celebration. This hole is special to me as 22 years ago while I was teeing off, the golf pro came to advise me my wife was going to the hospital to give birth to our daughter. I can't wait for the next great thing to happen on this hole.
