Played some hooky from work on a beautiful day. Went out as a single following a foursome. 3rd hole is a 140-150 par 3. The 4th tee box is right behind the green. I hit what felt like a really good 8 iron but the sun was in my eyes so I didn't see it land. The guys on the tee box cheered for what I thought was a good shot. Got to the green and saw my ball Mark a couple feet past the hole but didn't see my ball. I looked in the hole and there it was. I was practically shaking. I never even thought about ever getting a hole-in-one. One of the guys from the foursome offered me a shot from his flask. I declined but offered to buy them all a beer after the round. One of my best golf experiences ever.
