After playing Pings for many years i decided to try Titleist AP1 irons, which i purchased in 2014 at ST. Marks CC in San Marcos. About 3 months after my purchase i got my first hole in one at the ripe old age of 72 that was accomplished on June 5th 2014 using a Pro V1. Approximately almost a year to the date of my previous hole in one a got my second one on June 23rd, 2015, using the AP1's and a Pro V1. Again never thinking i would get my second one. So your thinking that 2 holes in one is no big deal some players have multiple holes in one. Well I a banded my AP1's and went back to png and have been playing them for almost 2 years. I moved to Mesa, AZ over a year ago and just recently was not happy with my iron play. Today March 22,2018, i decided to bring out my Titleist AP1's. I haven't used them for almost 2 years. And guess what the picture below speaks for itself. Yes a hole in one with my AP1's and of course a Pro V1 . Just as a side note I've been acquainted with Bob Vokey for over 30 years, i first met Bob when he had his own repair shop "Golf Masters", in Vista, CA. A great guy and master wedge designer.
