It happened on #8 at Tobacco Road Golf Club in Sanford, NC. My group was on the 7th green when we heard a roar from the 8th green celebrating what we thought was a hole in one in the group in front of us.(which was confirmed later). I mentioned to my playing partners how cool it would be to get a hole in one and that I had never had one. I step to the tee of the 173 yard 8th hole and hit 6 iron right at the flag. No one in my group saw the ball hit the green and when we arrived at the green no ball was in sight. After briefly looking behind the green, I walked over to check the hole and there it was. Kind of crazy that two straight groups had a hole in one on the same hole. And even crazier, a guy two groups ahead of us had a hole in one on #14 that day and we were all playing the ProV1x.
