What made this shot memorable was that the ball landed just on the fringe to a up front pin placement.

Our tee box was elevated so all 4 of us could track the path of the ball. We could see the ball rolling directly to the pin, and suddenly it just disappeared. No one in the group had any doubt that it wasnt a hole in one.

One member of the foursome actually thanked me for getting to see it, since it was the first hole-in-one he had ever seen.
