50 year wait rewarded

For over 50 years I played golf without the thrill of getting a hole in one. I've found every way possible to just miss the "ace" until 2011. Prior to my first hole in one, our pro and I were talking about the fact that neither one of us had had the privelge of watching a tee shot sink below the surface of the green. We both agreed that when it did happen we wanted it to be "pure" ie. not hitting a tree or golf cart and carooming into the hole or watching a thinned shot rocket along the ground only to find its resting place in the hole. Three days after this discussion our pro, Kevin hit a beautiful tee shot which looked short but hit some rocks fronting the green and deposited itself in the hole. So much for "pure". A month later I got my first with what can only be described as a perfectly stuck 6 iron which hit 5 feet from the flag and rolled majestically into the hole. Just before I hit I felt a change in the wind direction and had gone back to my bag for the 6 iron. Three months later I hit another perfectly stuck PW into the hole on our other course. It was worth the 50 year wait!!!
