I had just moved to the town and became a member 3 months prior to the event. It was July 15th and I went out to the course in the afternoon to just play a round of golf by myself. When I got there a few others were getting ready to go out so I joined them to play. We were having a good time just playing golf and enjoying a beautiful day. I got to the tee box on number 6 and I was the first to hit. The hole is a tight little par three that was playing about 165 that day. Green is very narrow, and deep with run off area on both sides of the green. Pin was on the front half of the green so I decide to pull a 7 iron knowing if I am short I am fine and I didnt want to go long. I hit a shot with a little baby draw and it takes one bounce and then goes in the cup. I yell and go crazy as I know it went in but the others I was playing with did not see it go in and said it was probably behind the stick or it went way long. But I knew it had gone in and could not wait to get to the green to show them...and sure enough we get to the green I run to the hole and pull out my beautiful Titleist Prov1x number 7. Now the group goes crazy and is super happy for me...I put that ball away and have never played with it since as it sits on my dresser in a glass box!! It was a great day and I have never stopped playing Titleist ever since!! Go Team Titleist!
