June 6, 1990, at Newton Commonwealth (near Boston College) I joined two golfers playing a match. As we teed off a fourth joined us. On the 12th hole ( a par 3) the scores were 1 2 3 4. The blue tees were up a little and the yardage was approximately 125 yards. Several years later my realization that it was in fact a 1 2 3 4 prompted me to send the card to the local newspaper, the Boston Herald. The reporter printed the names of the players and their scores, the player who got the 4 is still not happy his name was published.
