A late tee time
By will c On 13 October 2011
My friend and I teed off around 6:30 in the evening. After bogeying the par four first I was looking to birdie the second, but I would do much better. After allowing my friend to tee of first, I grabbed the seven iron out of my bag. The pin was back, so I thought I would hit it to the middle of the green and let it roll back to the pin. After striping a solid iron, I was thinking be good. It was better than good. The ball took one bounce and hopped right in the hole. My friend was the first to yell out "hole in one!". I was speechless, for I didn't believe that I had just gotten a hole in one. Once my friend was screaming, then i dropped my club and started to celebrate with him. My dad came and drove me around the back nine to make sure I played all eighteen holes. We finished around 9:45 in the pitch black dark. I ended up shooting seventy four, but it felt like sixty two.
