It was the final hole of the round & it was all square on an individual bet and team game bet. #18 into the sunset across a pond with the flag stuck in the back right corner. Hit my shot watched it hit the green and lost it because of the sunset. The other three guys in the group then hit and two were on the green and the other in the trap to the right of the green. When we got to the green there were two balls on the green. Immediately bad thought s crossed my mind that I got a bad break because the closest ball to pin was not mine. As my son who was playing in the group walked by the cup & flag stick he looked down and then turned and looked at me with a big smile and at that point I knew it was a hole in one. My first ever after playing golf for over 40 years and for it to happen with my son by my side was incredible. Oh by the way the ball closest to the pin was my opponent and he made birdie and got beat! WOW!
