After over 3500+ attempts...

It's been over 30 years of golf, with an average of 30 rounds a year. I estimate I've set up for over 3500+ tee shots on par 3's in my lifetime.

On Oct.24th, 2015 was the day that the elusive ACE was going to be part of MY reality. Two of my foursome partners had already hit their tee shots and claiming KP's as they both seemed to be within 15' of the pin.

I needed to be closer as my team was lagging in our match and a KP counted for a point. The yardage was estimated to be 148 yards which is a smooth 9 iron for this amateur golfer.

I planted my broken tee into the ground and placed my slightly warn ProV1 on to it. I addressed the ball with my AP2 iron favouring the left side of the green due to a back to front, left to right slope. I pulled the club back and swoosh!!
The shot did feel great off the club face and no mishit was in play on this shot. The ball landed 20' below to the left of the pin and was rolling up the slope face of the green. We could all see it wanted to curl back towards the hole as the ball was now behind the pin. As it got closer, the boys were cheering it on!
Suddenly, that little white ball that I had seen so many times in the past rest itself on that safe green surface, was gone.
Complete euphoria ensued and a feeling of great accomplishment set in. What a moment that will never be forgotten, for all of us.
Thank you Titleist for giving me the tools to live this moment. I will cherish it forever.
Sincerely
