My buddies and I were playing in a scramble to support our local HS athletes and to be honest we were not playing that well, after 9 we were only 3 under. Having given up hope of competing to the win we decided to be little more aggressive. So when two of our players placed nice drives into the fairway of the short Par 4 at Windham CC, Windham NH, I pulled my Titleist 913F 3-wood and took a full swing...and hit it on the screws.

We all saw the ball fall out of the sky onto the middle of the green but we did not see it go into the hole.

As we all assumed the ball went off the back of the green despite the very high trajectory on approach, we walked up to see if it was playable as the flag stick was on the back of the hole. As we walked by I glanced into the hole and saw a glint of the green shamrock logo I put on my golf balls.

In spite of scoring -3 on the hole it wasn't enough to get anywhere near the top of the leaderboard we had a heck of a time celebrating.
