I thought I was always going to be the golfer who Witnessed "Hole in Ones"! I have been witness to Four others and just close with mine. But that ALL ended on Sunday the 16th of October while playing the RTJ Grand National LINKS Course. Had not been playing my best in the previous days prior to that day, so I was not expecting the Unbelievable to happen, but it did. I was 3 over up to our arrival at #9. The hole juts out into Lake Saugahatchee and it seem's the "Pucker Factor" always goes up when the Flag is Middle to back on this hole. Well, it was middle left at 147yds with a slight breeze from the right front. I grabbed my Titleist AP2 7 Iron and put a Solid strike on the ball. The ball flight looked good from the minute it left the club face and I called for it to "be the right club Today". The flag was just over a mound on the left side of the green, so we could not see the bottom of the stick. We watched and listened, only to Hear a bang of the Flagstick. I expressed my hope that my Titleist ProV1X had ripped out the front of the cup and went straight into the Hole! IT DID! Wow, What a RUSH! For all of you that have been Witnesses, Hang in there , You never know when you'll Witness your OWN Hole in ONE, as I did!
