The day started out like any other, made a few bogies on the front side with mostly pars. Wasn't playing my best or my worst. I was playing with some friends who are much better golfers than myself, I think one of them shot 2 or 3 under par. We are driving from the 6th green to the 7th tee box, and I was explaining to my riding partner how I hadn't missed this green since we last played together which was about two months ago. Feeling confident and after my friend Tod hit his tee shot to about 8 feet right of the pin, I walked to the tee to ready myself for the shot. All I was thinking was make a good swing, and I bet I could put this ball inside his. (kept that to myself). I took the swing and it was right on line from the word go. Tom (another guy from the group) says "Oh that's in!!". I didn't really believe that, I mean I thought I hit a pretty good shot. I actually lost the ball in the air for a split second, but found it on the way down. We saw the ball land about 2 inches left of the pin, it took one hop and spun back into the hole!! People could hear us screaming 4 holes away! I threw my club down and the other three guys in the group bear hugged me as we were all cheering. Today is a new day, and I think I'm still in shock! Awesome!!!!
