WhistlePig
By BARRON J On 17 September 2019
We were playing in our annual WhistlePig tournament, 12 of us, in a modified Ryder Cup match. I was playing my individual match on Sunday, and was down 3 at the turn. The 10th hole at the Bedford Springs Old Course is a short hole over a ravine, but the green is two-tiered and the pin was on top. We commented how it was going to be tough to hold one on the top tier. Distance was 115 yards to the flag. I hit my 52 degree wedge right over the pin about 3-4 feet behind it. It began to slowly roll back toward the cup, and then disappeared. My first hole in one after 34 years of playing!
