Playing in the 2011 Labor Day Scramble at my club Mink Meadow (one of the three courses Obama played last week) I recorded an Ace on the 159 yard seventh. It was a nicely struck 5-iron with a Pro V1x (my favorite ball) and helped our team come in third in the Labor Day Scramble. The nine hole Mink Meadow course doesn't have a bar. So when Chet Nowak, our personable and witty pro awarded the prizes for the Scramble, he informed everyone that Bob would be providing his membership number at Farm Neck for a round of drinks (ha ha ha). I'm 72 and it's been 47 years since my last ace (also with a Titleist). What a thrill!
