while playing in the weekly ladies tournament, I hit an eight iron to the par 3 8th hole. The flag was front left, just behind a deep sand trap. I could not see the ball land. The other 3 ladies found their golf ball, and one said there is ball in the hole. Sure enough, it was mine. This is my first hole-in-one, while my mother who is 89, plays regularly, has had three. My husband who has a 12 handicap, has had none. I guess the girls rule in my house.
