I was playing in a Pacific Women's Golf Assoc team event at Hiddenbrooke Golf Course in Vallejo, CA. The date was 9-12-11. It was our first daof a two day event. Hole #6 is about 112 yards We had been waiting on the tee and talking about hole in ones. Three of us had mentioned that we had never had one. I cleaned my club with a broken tee, hit a nice soft 8 iron and could not believe my eyes. The girls all yelled it went into the cup-I thought perhaps it had crossed the hole and ran off the green as there was a slight shadow over the hole. Nope, my first ace! I have a 12 handicap and had a pop on this hole, so I scored a 0 for our team! What a thrill to do it in competition!
