I golf with a great bunch of peeps every Sunday, rain or shine. A group of Seal Beach locals meet up and play at Bixby Village Golf Course in Long Beach, Ca. It's called Comedy Golf. Anyone can play no matter the skill level. It's a very light hearted environment where there are both low and high handicappers.

One Sunday fell on Christmas Day in 2011. Usually 20 to 30 people show up for Comedy Golf, but since it was Christmas, only 13 came. That day, I shot closest to the pin on 3 holes and chipped in on a hole. I was about 3 1/2 ft from the #2 hole pin wich is about 117 yards over water. On #3 I chipped in for par about 12 feet from the pin. On #4, a par 4 284 yard hole I hit a driver towards the green and walked off to put my club away.

One of the Comedy Golfers in my group told me he saw the ball bounce twice and it dissappeared. The group in front which was also part of comedy golf started to run toward the hole jumping up and down and yelling "It's in! It's in!" I though they were joking. They told me if it was on any other day than Christmas, they would have pulled a prank and kicked it in the hole, but not this day. I almost shot another hole in one on par 3, 100 yrd #6 hole. It was on line but checked up 2 feet short. Best golfing day of my life...so far.
