The par 3 seventh hole at Twin Oaks GC in San Marcos, CA was playing around 175 yards with a head wind kicking it ip to about 190 yards. The pin was located at the back of the green on the upper tier. I hit it sweet with 4 hybrid and it went perfectly straight and landed on the green. After that O lost sight of it. A young man with better eyesight than mine said it had gone in the cup. I didn't believe it as we often joke about it going in the cup when we hit a good shot on a par 3. After everyone else had hit their ball we took off and headed to the green. the young man was the first to reach the green and walked past the hole with a big smile and pointed to the cup signaling the ball was where he said it was. Needless to say I was blown away. My first and only hole in one, so far!
