July 17, 2019. My first career hole-in-one occurred at Minakwa Country Club in Crookston, MN. Witness was Dave Aamoth. Beautiful evening and a fun day of golf. Teed off on the #4 138-yard, par 3. Earlier in the day, I put one about a foot and half from the cup. This time was different. Dave said to me as the shot was in mid-air, "looks good Chad!" We both watched as the ball went directly at the pin. We heard a "clack" and both looked back at each other. I said to Dave, "I think that went in!" Dave said, "I think you're right!" Much anticipated excitement as we went to the green. The ball was in the hole! Took some pictures and celebrated. A day I will always remember!
