This was my first hole in one, after almost ten years of playing. It's been one of the biggest years for improvements in my game, yet I still feel very lucky for achieving this new milestone. I was playing Eagle Crest Golf Course in Ypsilanti, MI, on Tuesday 8/2/2016 with my regular after-work league. We were playing the back Nine. Hole 14 is a par 3 with one of the best view in Southeast Michigan, looking from 20 to 40 feet above the hole. That day, the tees were at the 2nd farthest location, 164 yards away from the flag. I stood there after my swing watching, and everyone went completely silent as it arced thru the air, bounced once about 3 ft away from the hole, then rolled in a slow right arc and disappeared. Everyone began shouting but me - I just stood there, memorizing the view and the moment. Thanks, Titleist, for the new Pro-V1 balls and the great feeling I get when I make a good shot with them. This certainly was one of the most memorable for me, and made a great season of golf even better.
