Evening Skins Game

Playing in an evening skins game after work, my second hole in one was made. There was a carry over from the previous hole. Hitting last in the group, the green was open with balls left and right of the green. We were at hole #14, blue tees with 170 yards to a red flag pin placement. A 5-iron was selected, the ball teed up, and a swing was made hoping to be on the green. The flight of the ball was high and straight, not feeling the ball come off of the club face. We could see the ball hit on the front edge of the green and watched as it rolled towards the pin. A couple of the guys said it went on the hole, but because of the shadows, I was doubtful. Arriving to the green, there was no ball in sight. Looking into the hole, sure enough, there was my ball. Needless to say, I won the skin and the carry over! It was questionable regarding the witnesses with a judge, doctor, banker, coach, and pharmacist present. Legacy Ridge Golf Club Bonham, TX August 24, 2016 J J Hopson, DDS
