I grew up playing golf at Tarkio Golf Club in Tarkio, Missouri. For as long as I can remember I have been playing in their annual Father's Day Tournament. Playing with my buddy Nate Salmond and his dad Ed and brother Vince I sunk a 5 iron from 176 on the par 3 6th hole. The spotter on the hole for the hole in one prize of $1,000.00 was my former high school football coach Dave Palmeiro. He has been spotting the 6th hole for the hole in one prize for many years and said he thought he would die before he saw one. This was my first hole in one and I could not have picked a better time to hit one. Great day! And I did it with a Titleist ProV1!
