After playing golf for 50 years on September 19, 2011 Finally achieved a hole in one. The hole was No. 3 on the South Course at East lake Woodlands. The hole is normally a par 4 howver tee work renovations necessitated playing the hole as a par 3 during the time period that the work was being conducted. The hole played 138 yards and the club used was a Titleist 7 iron. The shot landed a few yards short of the cup and rolled in much to the groups surprise. The ball was a Titleist tour distance. What a blessing that the cup was placed where I actually sprayed the ball. Definitely a first.
