I have been playing golf since I was eight and have become a pretty good player. Must have been a dozen times I hit a flagstick or was within a foot but never broke through with an ace until yesterday (10/1/2012). Using a NXT Tour S, I hit a PW to a 125 yard uphill par-3. I could not see the bottom of the stick but I knew it should have been close. I get to the green and see my ball mark about six feet behind the hole. At first disappointment as I thought I went over. My playing partner said to check the hole. I giggled and went over and there was the ball sitting in the cup. Nice six feet of backspin brought it home. Honestly I did not know how to react at first and then it hit me. Unbelievably exciting.
