First Ace after Retiring

On January 7, 2015, I was golfing with friends at Charleston National Golf Course in Mount Pleasant, SC, just across the harbor from Charleston, SC. I have a 14 handicap and teed up for a 120 yard, Par 3 shot at the 2nd hole. The shot requires all carry over marsh to a wide, but short depth green. The pin placement was middle right and the green sloped from left to right. My tee shot, using a Titlest Pro-V1X, hit the top of the slope in the middle of the green and rolled into the cup. My two fellow players started whooping and hollering and talking about my buying drinks, as is the custom. It was my second hole-in-one. I had the first one at Kinston Country Club in Kinston, NC, on July 31, 1995. I told my playing partners that I guess I'll need to plan a party for my next hole-in-one, which should be achieved in 2035, based on past history. No matter how good a golfer one is, or his age bracket, getting a hole-in-one is exciting.
