Tuesday 8/30/11: We usually play the first nine holes during the league but this day the front nine was real wet so the league play was on back nine. So my foursome played back nine first. After league is over we team up and play match on next nine. So our back nine was on front nine where the league usually plays. Second hole that day played 154 yards. Well did I mention that if you hit hole in one during league play 50 guys in league have to give him 10 dollars each. First time all year we played back nine in league. Anyways there was a stiff wind in my face so I hit 2 more clubs than I normally use: 21º hybird.

I hit it really high and the Pro V1 was headed right for the hole. On this hole there is a sand trap in front of green so you can only see top half of the flag. When we got up to the green there were only 3 balls on green. I think think this was first time we all were on green on this hole all year. My friend George was the first one there and pulled a ball out of the hole and asked what I was playing.

George was on the other team. We all have about same handicap (11) for 9 holes. I told him Pro V1 and that I had marked with a line next to the ball #1 with a green marker that made it an 11 so there was no mistake it was mine.

What a feeling. Even though I miss out on the league money I was still very happy.

Now I wonder if I will ever do it again.
