On 5/17/12, playing in a group of three foursomes I finally got my first Ace. We were playing at Dogwood Country Club here in Atlanta. On #12, a long par three( 173yds. from the senior tees) You cannot see the ball on the green. There were 3 balls right in front of the green, but mine was no where to be found even though I knew I had hit a decent shot. Someone finally looked in the cup and the rest is history. At the age of 71 and approx. 40 years of golf I have my first ace. I have no idea how many Titleist balls I have lost in 40 years, but this one at least will stay with me.
