I was playing at our club, St. James Plantation in North Carolina. We were having our Thursday MGA (mens golf association) tournament. Today's format was a par three tournament. I hit a Gap Wedge from 103 yards, it hit about 18 inches past the whole and spun back into the cup.

The ironic part of the story is the ball that I used. I always use a Pro V. But recently I had my swing anaylised for the correct type of ball. One of the options was the Titleist DT SoLo. I have been trying it for the last few rounds. It is ok, but I still like the Pro V better. Well, since this was a par 3 tournament, I thought that I would use the Pro V instead of the DT SoLo because it does have more spin to it. It was because of the spin that I the ball backed up into the hole.
