I had my first hole in one on May 7, 2012. I have played golf for 42 years. Our foursome was playing a "captains" pick game. The captain and first to hit put his ball about 10 feet away on this 145 yd #8 hole at Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City, Iowa. He said he didn't need a partner and we call that "hog" the hole for all the skins. I was next to hit and I hit my 9 iron dead at the flag with a Titleist Pro VI #4 ball. It hit 6-7 feet short and rolled right in. I was ecstatic. The captain now lost all the skins.
