My name is Abbie and I am 19 years old. I decided to sign my dad and I up for a best ball tournament at our local country club, which I also work at. A few years ago my dad, who is an avid golfer, had to undergo a double lung transplant and almost never golfed again. I have been taking every opportunity I can to golf with my dad. We approached number 16 and I hit my drive which landed nicely on the front of the green with the pin in the middle. I started to walk back to my cart when my dad and my friends dad yelled "get in the hole!" I turned just in time to watch my ball drop right in the hole. I jumped into my dads arms and immediately thought of my grandpa who recently passed away, who also had a love for golf and a few hole in one's to his name. He happened to have one on the same hole and I have his ball and score card, which is now framed right next to mine. I feel so blessed not only to get a hole in one, but to get it with my dad watching. We have always shared golf and sports together and now we have this great memory that we will never forget!
