Playing my home course in Aiken SC. I had a decent round going. #15 is slightly downhill with 2 tiered green. The pin was on the left - the lower side. I always aim a little right of the target to let the ball roll to the hole. Today it came off perfectly. The ball landed about 20 feet short of the hole and tracked into the hole. My group was silent for a moment and then somebody said, "I think it is in the hole". I used my rangefinder and sure enough the ball was nowhere to be seen. It had to be in the hole! And it was. After playing 45 years without an ace, I was sort of dumbfounded. It's only after a couple of days that it is really sinking in. This using a Pro V1 of course!
