I had never had an Ace but I've come close over the 10 years I've played this game. I hit a 7 iron to slightly elevated green on hole #2 at the Antelope Valley Country Club. The shot felt great off of the club and the ball flight was beautiful but we couldn't tell if the ball stayed on the green or had gone off the back. The flag was blue so I knew I had a little bit of green to work with. The ball landed in the middle of the green and I guess I read the break right...lol. We got to the green and my playing partner stuck his shot to 3 and 1/2 feet (he made the birdie btw). We thought my shot had gone over so I walked to look off the back of the green when I heard him say "It's in the hole!" I couldn't believe it. I retrieved the ball and actually played that ball for the rest of the round. My Titleist Pro-V1x (#7) is now retired. Thank you for excellent products and the chance to share my story.
