I've been playing for twelve years , since I was 49, and never thought I would ever break the ice but finally today it happened to me from 150 yards. I was a guest on a course I was a member of for four years, the Moorings Country Club in Naples, FL. It is a par 63 with nine par fours and nine par threes so plenty of chances for a hole in one. Even though I was a two time mens champion I never got that elusive hole in one until today with an 8 iron from 150 yards. Three golfer witnesses had never seen it happen in person as well.

The funny thing is that while I normally use a Pro VI, this was actually a found ball with a logo on it stating "It is what it is!!!" Now that is funny.

My index is 8.8 and I now belong to Royal Poinciana Golf and Country Club in Naples, FL.
