Played with my dad at an early morning Sunday round at Mohansic Golf Course. I shot 3 over on the front nine and then holed out on the par 5 10th from about 70 yards for eagle with my brand new (purchased on 8/15) Vokey SM5 60*. Proceeded to play well for the rest of the back nine, birdied tough par 3 13th to get to even but bogeyed 15 and 17, two very tough par 4's. Walked to the 18th tee thinking that I needed to make one last good swing to score my best at Mohansic. 18th hole yardage was 178, plays slightly uphill with a little breeze in my face. The hole was cut short of the middle of the green. My Titleist 913 21* hybrid was too much club so decided to hit a 4 iron. It came off perfect, carried the front of the green just right of the pin. Was thinking that I should have a great chance at birdie. We couldn't see the pin from the tee so while walking up to the green, my ball was no where to be seen. Asked my dad where he thought it was and he told me to check the cup and sure enough, Hole in One!!!! Thank you Titleist!!
