First Hole-in-One after 28 years of golf

Playing golf since I was about 12 years old (now 40) fluctuating from a handicap of 3 to 9 now with kids. I have been around golf since 12 when i started caddying at Country Club of Darien (CT). While caddying from the age of 12 through college I carried for many loops and have had the privilege of seeing a number of hole-in-one. Well, quite fitting for someone who was introduced to the game by way of caddying, I had my first hole-in-one while playing at Metropolis Country Club July 20, 2015 during the Westchester Golf Association Caddie Scholarship Reunion Event.

The hole-out was on #4, 166-yards into the wind with a 6 Iron, my Titleist ProV1 bounced once and rolled about 4 feet and dropped. Witnessing the event was Mike McCarthy, Current President of the Westchester Golf Association and David Christie another Board Member of the WGA. It was a hot day and the last few hole were tiring but I still maintained a score of 80 with two bogies and two doubles to in the last five holes.

I will use Titleist balls from here on out.
