My son is 6 years old. He has been golfing a couple of times with his Gramma Di but being that I travel for work, this was our first time out together. We also had his Grandmother and her boyfriend with us. This was my first time out on the course this year. On the first hole I hit 2 beautiful shots on a par 4 and made par. The second hole is the hole-in-one hole. It is a 168 yard par 3. I hit first, and hit the most perfect shot I have ever hit. The ball took that first hop on the green and then we heard a faint sound of the ball hitting the flag stick. I dropped my club and walked off the tee box. I walked up to the green with my son and he picked the ball up out of the hole. On the next tee box I tee'd off and hit a perfect drive right down the middle of the fairway (a par 4). My son then says to me,"Did it go in the Hole Daddy?" The hardest part was trying to get him to understand that this does not happen very often. He now seems to think that I make the ball in one shot on every hole now. The rest of my round did not go as well, kinda fell apart as I was trying to teach him the game of golf.
