The first time out this season was a chilly day in Omaha and I was playing exactly as you would expect for a first time out (and also my first time hitting a Titleist Tour Soft). A little luck changed all that on the 7th hole. With the tee just 158 yards away this par 3 three was in reach, even for an novice like myself. I knew I hit it cleanly but I was not expecting the ball to drop just in front of the pin and I was even more shocked when it rolled another few feet into the cup!
