I had just returned to Virginia for work and a friend and I decided to brave the 99 degree heat and play at Riverfront in Suffolk. I had a decent front and told my buddy I was going to shoot 36 (par) on the back. I birdied 10 then went bogey, double with a ball in the water. I stepped to the tee on 13 just wanting a good shot at a birdie. I hit a flush 8 iron and assoon as it came off the club I was asking it to be right. It never bounced but went straight in the hole for my first ever ace. It only took me 47 years but it was worth it. By the way I ended up with a 38 on the back.
