Golf is great no matter where you play

I have played golf for most of my life, and coached at the High School level in Vermont. I helped to start, and coached the Julian Cup (Vermont high school seniors against New Hampshire seniors, 10 boys, 2 Girls)for the first five years. When I retired, I moved to New Hampshire to help raise my now 3 year old grandson. Being a sixth generation Vermonter, I felt like a traitor. I have met many golfers in New Hampshire, mostly nice people, and was playing in a tournament with 28 new friends, when I hit the perfect shot. I had been close many times and witnessed 12 others, but figured it just wasn't in the cards for me. Ended up winning the tournament and a skin too.I guess golf in New Hampshire, and for that matter, golf anywhere, is just a great social game. Next goal is to shoot my age.
