It was the day before knee replacement surgery and I was playing with my normal foursome. I had already decided to only play nine due to the discomfort in my knee. Number 8 on the Woodlands Tournament Course was 146 yards into the wind on the back shelf. I knew I hit it good with a 6 iron, but did not see it land when my playing partners start going crazy telling me it went into the hole. That certainly was a way to end my playing for the year.
