I usually don't hit driver (Titlesist 910 D3 & Pro V1x) off of #5 at Heritage Club but we were downwind and figured I would give it a go to get it up near the green. The safe shot is to lay up because the fairway narrows as you get closer to the green. When I hit the driver I knew it would be close and usually get slowed up by the front of the green being soft. We drove up to the green and didn't see the ball. I figured it may have rolled just over the back. One of my playing partners Sid Worley sensed that it may have went in the hole. I grabbed my wedge and putter and walked to the back of the green looking for my ball. Sid approached the hole and said 'unbelievable it's in the hole'. We were all shocked and realized the odds and the rare air we just experienced. Let the celebration begin!
