This fall, at age 45 I finally made my first hole-in-one. My son, Jack has three and over the years I have had to listen to "How many Hole-in-Ones do you have Dad?"
I have been playing golf since the age of five and have witnessed 12 hole-in-ones while playing. Mine came during our usual Thursday aftenoon round, but this time we were all using our Tad Moore Hickory clubs in preperation for our Hickory Club Championship. The fourth hole at The Country Club of Jackson MS is a 148yd par 3. I used a Spade Mashie with a DT SoLo to hit my first hole-in-one. This was the first hickory hole-in-one ever recorded at The Country Club of Jackson.
