September 15, 2019 started out as a usual round of golf with my husband and the "fellas" - except I was playing horribly. As I was getting out of the cart to tee up on the Par 3 15th hole (118 yards to the pin from ladies tee) I was told "Go hit yourself a good one - get it in the hole!" I laughed and said "Have you NOT been watching me play??" I decided to club up (using my Titleist Hybrid) as I had no clue how well I would hit the ball, and there was a bit of wind against me. A good swing, solid connection and the ball landed just below and to the right of the hole, took a small hop and rolled into the cup. The excitement and tears of joy!!! To make it extra special - I was using my recently purchased, customized ProV1x ball. Our son, Myles, was taken from us almost three years ago and this past summer is the first since our loss, that I've gotten out to play every weekend and have actually enjoyed time on the course. I love that I can have my son's name on the ball and the ability to have his year of birth as my custom number. Thank you Titleist!!
