It started on a beautiful morning golfing with the ladies at Echo Valley Country Club in Norwalk, Iowa on July 5, 2019. Rotation was Creek Ridge. The ladies play every Friday morning. A different game each week with a buy in of $5. We come up to hole 3 that is a par 3. I set up and tell myself just get on the green. I hit my ball and can see it going straight towards the green and say Thank you under my breath. I watch it hit the green and see it heading towards the pin. To me it looks as it's stopping short so I grab my tee and walked away. I can hear my ball hit the stick. I turn around to look for my ball right as Heidi said it went in the hole. I start scanning to see if there is a ball next to the pin. I can not see it. I stayed calm to let the other girls tee off. As we drive to the green I don't see me ball. I wait for all the ladies to get to the green before walking up to look in the hole. Yes! The ball was in the hole! Never thought I would ever get a hole in 1 but always tried for one. I could not calm my nerves for the rest of the round. I am truly blessed. Golf is my happy place!. Congratulations to all who achieve the hole in 1 club!
